About this website
This site contains some of the tools and training materials I have built for Global Economic and Trade Policy Analysis and for students in trade policy analysis.
About me
I am an Associate Professor in the Practice of Economics in the Department of Economics at the University of Southern California. I teach undergraduate and graduate classes in international trade and applied trade policy and co-direct the Masters in International Trade Law and Economics (MITLE) program.
My PhD focused on modeling steady-state equilibrium in global computable general equilibrium models. Following my PhD, I taught at the University of Sheffield in the UK, before joining the Center for Global Trade Analysis at Purdue University, where I was Director of the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP). In 2014 I became a partner in ImpactECON LLC and in 2020 I joined the University of Southern California.
My research and teaching spans trade, development, migration, and environmental policy. I have developed numersous economic models and databases used internationally and have led projects for organizations including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, US International Trade Commission, European Commission, OECD, UN Economic Commission for Africa, among others.
